Sensodyne Complete Care Toothbrush - Sensodyne started its journey in 1961 and has become clinically proven and dentists recommended #1 brand. Sensodyne Complete Care Toothbrush Soft (Pink).  Sensitive teeth need special care. With its small angled head, soft outer bristles and inner twisting bristles, the Sensodyne Complete Care Toothbrush is suitable for people with sensitive teeth. It provides enamel cleaning, gum cleaning and plaque removal. The toothbrush helps in eradicating plaques by cleaning gums and teeth without harsh treatment.

It is advisable to use a proper toothbrushing technique. For optimum treatment of tooth sensitivity we recommend twice daily use of a Sensodyne toothpaste. You should replace your toothbrush when it begins to show wear or every two or three months. It’s also important to change toothbrushes after you’ve been sick, as the bristles can collect bacteria and germs, leading to reinfection.

Soft toothbrushes are actually more effective at removing food and plaque than hard-bristle toothbrushes, and they are gentler on your teeth and gums. Soft-bristled brushes are best for removing plaque and debris from your teeth and along the gum line as well as they aren’t abrasive enough to cause erosion to the enamel. While a toothbrush with soft bristles cannot cause actual damage to your teeth or gums, you must use a good brushing technique to ensure plaque and debris is removed from your teeth.

Dentine hypersensitivity, or tooth sensitivity, is a common dental problem. It’s a condition that can develop over time, as a result of common problems such as receding gums and enamel wear. Most sufferers are between 20 and 50 years old. Tooth sensitivity can start to happen when the softer, inner part of the tooth called ‘dentine’ becomes exposed. Dentine lies under the enamel and the gums. Thousands of microscopic channels run through the dentine towards the centre of the tooth. Once the dentine is exposed, external triggers (such as a cold drink) can stimulate the nerves inside the tooth, resulting in the characteristic short, sharp pain of tooth sensitivity.

Sensitive teeth may indicate an underlying problem which needs prompt care by a dentist. If symptoms persist or worsen consult your dentist. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
