Lemsip Cold & Flu Hot Lemon 500mg 5s provides relief from symptoms associated with colds or flu. It is an analgesic which helps to provide relief from headaches, sore throats, fevers, body aches & pains. Each Sachet contains 500mg of paracetamol.
Viruses cause colds and the flu. Both are respiratory infections. Colds spread when someone who’s sick sneezes or coughs, sending virus-filled droplets flying through the air. You can catch the flu in the same way you’d pick up a cold: By coming into contact with droplets spread by an infected person. You’re contagious starting one day before you get sick and up to 5 to 7 days after you show symptoms.
Cold symptoms:
- Runny or stuffy nose
- Sore throat
- Sneezing
- Cough
- Headache or body aches
- Mild tiredness
Flu symptoms:
- Dry, hacking cough
- Moderate to high fever, although not everyone with the flu will run a fever
- Sore throat
- Shaking chills
- Severe muscle or body aches
- Headache
- Stuffy and runny nose
- Severe fatigue that may last up to two weeks
- Nausea and vomiting, as well as diarrhea (most common in children)

Directions
Pour one sachet of powder into a mug and fill with hot, but not boiling, water. Stir until dissolved. If preferred, sweeten to taste with sugar, honey or your usual sweetener. -
Dosage
Adults and children 12 and over: 1 sachet every 4 hours. Do not exceed 6 sachets in 24 hours. Do not give to children under 12. -
