Bonjela is a pain relieving gel which also reduces inflammation and helps fight infection in teething, mouth ulcers, denture sore spots and cold sores. Clinically shown to aid the healing and relieve the pain of mouth ulcers caused by braces and dentures.
Mouth ulcers are painful round or oval sores or sore spots that form in your mouth; often on the inside of the cheeks and lips. They can also appear on the floor of your mouth and on the underside of your tongue. They can be uncomfortable, especially when you eat, drink or brush your teeth, but they are not infectious and you cannot pass them from one person to another. The ulcers are common and should clear up on their own within a week or two. They’re not usually a sign of anything more serious, but you should see your GP if they last longer than 3 weeks.
You can get mouth ulcers that keep coming back, mainly at times when you’re particularly stressed, anxious or ‘run down’. Some women can also develop them during hormonal changes such as pregnancy or their monthly period. Your diet can play part too and there are certain foods like chocolate, spicy foods, coffee and peanuts that may increase the likelihood of you getting a mouth ulcer. A mouth ulcer has various symptoms including round or oval in shape, usually red or yellow in colour and swollen around the edge.

Directions
Wash your hands before and after each application. Massage approximately 1cm of gel onto the sore area. This can be repeated after 3 hours. -
Dosage
Children from 4 months: Using a clean finger, massage a pea sized amount of bonjela onto the sore area.This can be repeated after 3 hours. No more than 6 doses in 24 hours. Not suitable for babies under 4 months.Adults: Massage approximately one centimetre of bonjela onto the the sore area. This can be repeated after 3 hours. -

Contains the active ingredients Choline Salicylate 8.714% w/w and Cetalkonium Chloride 0.01% w/w. The other ingredients are Ethanol, Glycerol, Levomenthol, Hypromellose 4500, Star Anise Oil, Sodium Saccharin and Purified Water -
